SENUTI alternative for getting Music OFF shared office iPod
#1
Don’t have all the intricate details but a friend of a friend has a shared newer iPod (has lightning connector and bluetooth - not sure of generation) that they use in a small office setting.

The person who used to administer or update the company employee owned iPod has moved on (I think they all chipped in and all donated music to load it).

I am my buddies “Go To” mac guy for all things Apple so he asked for help in getting the music off the iPod.

Apparently they like the music offerings on the nearly full iPod and want to move it to a USB or Flash drive to load on a new device that they have control over (or nuke and pave old device with new admin - not sure which)

DRM and music ownership debate aside - what is the go to App that works like SENUTI today. I google’d and came up with plenty of dead links. I tried the last free version of SENUTI and it didn’t work.

I know that the world is moving towards streaming and Apple Music and Spotify playlists but apparently there is a small amount of unique music on the iPod that they want to get or retain.

What do we like for getting music off an iPod in 2022 - preferably FREE but not opposed to PAID if it is simple and works.

Anybody have a suggestion that they use that works?

I think I always end up using iExplorer. Its the app I currently have on my computer. Although I've not used it in quite a while.

Thanks for the suggestions so far...

Hmmm.... Looks like pricing is in the $35 to $50 range. There is no big rush, so I'll wait for other suggestions and/or secondary recommendations on the above.

trying to recall my iPod days and I seem to remember the iPod could act as a drive on the desktop at one time. If that is still the case then you would just be able to copy the iPod onto a thumb drive.
