HBO was hit with a class action lawsuit on Tuesday alleging that it shares subscribers’ viewing history with Facebook, in violation of a federal privacy law.

A class action law firm, Bursor & Fisher, filed the suit in federal court in New York on behalf of two HBO Max subscribers, Angel McDaniel and Constance Simon. Oh, greedy lawyers pursing a class action suit, the sole purpose of which is to line their pockets.

I would have guessed that unless you have a physical off switch for your microphone on every internet device in the house (phone/assistant/fridge/wastebasket/computer/etc.), they are listening and already know your viewing habits (including the pRon).
