These and the hottest Android phones are leveraging the host computer in interesting ways that would require an external editor and probably a human to manage later.
The example they give of a group of faces that a typical casual snapshot might have can have the phone help ensure all faces have corrected exposure if say, someone's face was in shadow. The movie editing feature is expanding on the earlier Lytro camera idea of capturing everything in focus and deciding later what to make blurry. |
