Spotify question(s)
#1
I've experimented with Pandora and Tidal, so now I figured I'd give Spotify a try. I've chosen a couple of their playlists and I think I can shuffle between them, but maybe there's a better way. There's a lot of repeats between the playlists, too. I mean I like James Taylor's Fire and Rain, but not enough to have it appear on every Playlist I select.

So I'm wondering if I'm better off going through all the potential Playlists and marking songs I like as Favorites, creating my own Playlist. Or I suppose I could go through all the Playlists and delete the songs I don't want to hear. Except I can't see a way to do that easily. Too bad there's not a "Unfavorite" button to just toggle off.

And on a side note, I'm noticing a problem with Spotify in my vehicle and I can't tell whether it's the car or Spotify. Once in a while it will start playing a song...well, it will look like it's playing a song with the time showing it's playing, but no sound is coming out. Sometimes I have to Quit the App and open it again. Is that normal?

Suggestions welcome. Thanks.

That’s what I’ve been doing. I listen to a playlist and favorite what I like, and add it to my own. Then I can just play what I really want to hear without those few songs I hate. It does take the surprise out of it, though - sometimes I forget I love a song, and when it comes on, it’s great.

Thanks. i wonder if I just skipped those songs when they came on, if the algorithm would get smart enough to skip them on their own later.
