As part of the partnership, Charles Barkley joins the exclusive roster of Ruffles Chip Deal Athletes – LeBron James, Jayson Tatum and A’ja Wilson – in a new TV commercial for the new Ruffles flavor.

The commercial, which will premiere during NBA All-Star 2023, depicts Barkley selecting a Ruffles flavor at a vending machine as James, Tatum and Wilson each come to life on their own Ruffles chip bags and “full-court press” him to choose their respective flavor.

Ruffles Hot Dog-flavored potato chips will drop in highly limited quantities during NBA All-Star Weekend. To celebrate the new flavor, Ruffles and Charles are transforming local Salt Lake City fan-favorite hot dog restaurant J.Dawgs into “Bark.Dawgs.”

Fat in food is flavor, and years back I tried somebody's 'baked' potato chips and they were terrible, absolutely bland, and not even salt could save them.

Salt and vinegar air fried chips will get an audition, as I get Ruffles regular chips frequently.

Hotdog flavor is a non-starter for me, though I love hotdogs.

Foods flavored to be other foods seldom fare well on my palette.

I tired of Snickers bars years ago, but tolerate them when getting the 20lb assortment bag at Costco.

This new iteration sounds more like a Mars bar (RIP) which was one of my very favorite candy bars.

Mountain Bars were a close second, but not too close.

So the Road bar is worth a try.
