Why would you assume that, and why would one care about what others do in their private life?

My wife has a couple of guys at work that she suspects they are gay but don't want to admit it. I don't understand why she even thinks about stuff like this. You work with the guy, he does his job, who cares if he is gay or not. And even if he is gay but is married to a woman and they have kids, who cares? that's their internal issues they need to deal with, not mine.
