My last boss was diagnosed with lung cancer and was given two weeks to two months to live. She died exactly two weeks after her diagnosis.

I would've at least gave him the "nod."
I'd like to think I'd be cool enough to give him the nod accompanied by 'Mr. Braugher.' But in reality, it would be more like 'OMGOMGOMGANDREBRAUGHERYOUKNOWWHOYOU AREYOU'REANDREBRAUGER! In his dulcet tones 'Yeah I gotta go.'

Same here...what was thought to be pain from osteoporosis turned out to be bone cancer. That relative went immediately on Hospice and lasted only around four months. |
