Hackers hit Russian prison databases
#1
Russian and Ukrainian hackers obtained contact information of 800,000 prisoners and their relatives in Russia as part of an effort to find out what happened to Navalny. They also changed commissary prices to a penny and put Navalny's photo on the contractor's web site.

Good to see, but also a bit concerning, methinks.

Maybe it will at least cause a noticeable distraction for the Putin's security services. Who knows, maybe some poor sap security officer will take the fall and end up in prison.

When Putin is involved, "take the fall" is usually fatal from the impact.

I wonder if that database included the locations of all windows, with rankings for effectiveness.
