mp3tunes.com - May be the real deal
#11
Finished uploading my ~16 GB iTunes library. Only about 14 GB was actually uploaded because the remaining tracks are each larger than 10 MB (their limit for the "free" version).

Anyway, this is pretty awesome. For those of us who don't have a high capacity iPod (I have a 2 GB nano), this service really comes in handy. I essentially have my entire music library accessible to me via any computer in the WORLD without having to worry about bringing along my iPod, syncing my iPod, charging my iPod, picking which songs I want on my low capacity iPod, etc.

I'm currently at work, sitting at my desk and listening to Tom Petty and the HB's Greatest Hits. Sound quality is awesome (to my untrained ear).

So, if you have the patience to upload your library, I definitely recommend this.

And, what onthedownlow said is true, what the record companies are probably going to argue is that anybody with your email address and password basically has free access to the music, free to download, etc.
