"Pick me, pick me, I wanna be your VP"

Rep. Greg Steube, who represents Florida voters miles away from Donald Trump’s Palm Beach home, plans to introduce his bill to re-name the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone on official documents, maps, and laws, to honor Trump on Friday, his 78th birthday.

The U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone extends 200 miles offshore from all US holdings.

No word on if sharks will be allowed in the proposed “Donald John Trump Exclusive Economic Zone.”

That will earn him 10 Trump Fealty Points™. Enough for temporary immunity from the mob. Weak in actually doing something to help Trump win but strong with obsequious phony feelings so that's always good.

It will earn him nothing.

You know, this is an interesting one. I learned it from my father at a very young age. It's a funny story, because it just goes to show how typical a business guy he is:

I used to kiss him before going to school every morning, right? Seven o'clock in the morning, I'm going to school — hugs, kisses, and he used to say a couple things. "No smoking, no drinking, no drugs." I think a great lesson for any kid. But then he followed up with: “Don't. Trust. Anyone. Ever.” And, you know, he'd follow it up two seconds later with, “So, do you trust me?” I'd say, “Of course, you're my dad.” He'd say, “What did I just —” You know, he thought I was a total failure. He goes, “My son's a loser, I guess.” Because I couldn't even understand what he meant at the time. I mean, it's not something you tell a four-year-old, right?

What did Trump have to do with this?

Nothing.

It was not until 1982 with the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea that the 200 nautical mile exclusive economic zone was formally adopted [worldwide].

It’d make more sense to name a gold-plated toilet after him, in so many ways.
