I know someone who's a forest ranger and their job is largely fire control. They're being forced to fire a bunch of people. At this point I suspect we're firing forest fire fighters right after having forest fires. Can't say it surprises me. Some of those fire fighters voted for the guy who's cutting their jobs. Will be interesting to see how they process that.
