#1
Do you think there will be a strong backlash agains this extreme capitalism where rich get richer and poor get poorer? and maybe one day USA will have more affordable health care and better tax laws where the rich pay their fair share of taxes? and more paid time off, more paid sick time off, better social security, etc? like in WESTERN Europe?

Me neither.
Most people are fine watching TV and complaining about the state of affairs to their spouse.

lol, no.

The raison d'etre of the republican party is make sure the rich get richer.

It is also to make poor people feel pity for those poor rich people.

We may not always love our French brethren, but at least the Frenchies knew how to throw a revolt when it was necessary.

The American Revolution of 1776 was one of the most influential events in modern history, with its effects being felt worldwide. It influenced the French Revolution and had political and social implications that acted as major forces for change in the western world.”

Today they'd probably be MAGAts… wouldn't be much help.

There will be no backlash against extreme capitalism. The dodos in this country all hope/expect to end up wealthy and they want to enjoy extreme capitalism once they are rich, none of that socialist tax-and-spend crap for them, no way. Remember how everyone thought Occupy Wall Street was a big joke? Who's laughing now?

The backlash will come when eggs are $40 a dozen, gas is $30 a gallon, and little Joe and Jill and their five kids have to move in with MeeMaw and PeePaw. Then some folks will start to become aggravated. Trump has to be sure he's gotten rid of a LOT of colored people before then to keep the MAGAs from revolting.
