Murkowski has “considered” joining Senate Democrats
#11
(Yesterday, 02:54 PM)gabester Wrote: I haven't verified this information but as already suggested in this thread the Senator from Alaska already got a carve-out so that non-contiguous US States (which presumably aren't Islands because otherwise this would also cover Hawaii) will not be impacted by the medicaid cuts in the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Bill.

What I really cannot fathom is how the Senate version is making everything so much worse - aren't they supposed to moderate the base impulses of the House?! Or is it a set up so the Imperial President can disband the Senate like it's Star Wars?

I think this is how "Big" deals are always made in D.C. Where's my pork chop?  More of these MAGAt questioners are shivering on their heated toilets at the thought that the Trumpster might throw his money and support to someone else the next time there's an election (if there is another one). He's already threatened several of them. We will start to see more long-term politicians opting out of the system rather than facing the wrath of Trump and his MAGAt masters - which is also part of the long-term plan.

These criminals hit the ground running this time, and they're running the country into the ground rapidly. Still trying to find some semblance of "sense" to be made from any of it besides exerting raw power and control. Who exactly will gets the benefits of all this money that's being adding to the deficit?
