.....Netflix is shutting the doors to The Residence, cancelling its murder mystery series after just one season.
The Residence starred Uzo Aduba as quirky detective Cordelia Cupp, who uses her cunning intellect and obsessive bird-watching abilities to crack otherwise unsolvable cases. The show’s first (and now only) season sent Cordelia to the White House, where she solved the murder of Chief Usher A. B. Wynter, played by Giancarlo Esposito......

Pulse Cancelled at Netflix After 1 Season
....It’s time to stop compressions on Netflix‘s Pulse: The medical drama has been cancelled after just one season. Its April 3 freshman finale now doubles as its series finale.
Pulse followed the doctors and surgeons at Miami’s Maguire Medical Center, namely the complicated relationship between colleagues-turned-lovers Danny Simms (Reacher‘s Willa Fitzgerald) and Xander Phillips (The Originals‘ Colin Woodell). As the rest of the ER staff was left to process the fallout of Danny and Xander’s illicit romance, they balanced their own personal and professional challenges while working under the pressure of life-or-death stakes.......

The streaming service has no plans for a Season 2, though there is a theoretical possibility that it could continue down the road as an anthology with a new cast
