@Troy can we please get the default sort order changed to Creation Time first?

Thank you.

I've bookmarked the 'start' page with Creation Time selected for both myMainForums and it sticks.

Anytime the navigation gets convoluted, which is a lot of the time, I hit the bookmark and I'm back to the newest thread by Creation Time.

Works every time.

I agree, please make creation date the default.  Please, please, please.

Doesn't Rammie present a workaround above? Maybe I'm on crack, but that is the way I read it.

I keep a tab open, not a bookmark.  I assume the ‘sort by’ order can be easily changed.

I guess I'm not sure what you mean when you say "creation time first." That sounds like the newest created thread would be at the top.

Do you mean the old way at the old forum?

I'm totally fine with the current default; updated threads moving to the top. It's that way 99% of forums work and I think it just makes more sense. I already feel like threads with new posts not moving to the top is primitive. (Why would I want to scroll to page 3 or 4 just to see if anyone has added a post to an old thread?)

I've also become used to the way this new forum sorts threads by "Last Post" vs "Creation Date" used in the old forum.  It does make it easier to catch up on all of the replies.

The first few days it was a bit annoying because it seemed like there were some date problems bringing up some old posts, as well as spammers / AI Bots replying to very old threads, but now that things are getting more normal it seems pretty natural to me.

In one earlier post of mine, which may have disappeared when the "General" forum got nuked, I compared this sorting order change to when Apple changed the scrolling direction of the trackpad.  Shocking at first, but over time became more natural.
