I don't think OWC owes us any update or explanation. It's their servers, they do this at no cost to us, they don't owe us anything.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Frankly, they would have been within their rights to say, Oh well, this thing is old and crotchety, let's get rid of it. Instead they've worked very hard to give us something new. I will miss my PMs but it's not the end of the world.

I'm generally not one to reply with a "me too", but it's worth it in this case with what $tevie (and others) have said. Despite little roadblocks and other quirks to get used to, we again have a place to gather, so let's just be grateful for that.

$tevie, I hope you persevere until The Original Stevie is $tevie once again.

I know it's not a really big deal to you, but it does make this new place with its post-modern low-back uncomfortable couch that one keeps sliding off of, feel more like home to some of us, where everybody knows your name. 

I'm sure troy is busily hammering down bugs and permissions errors daily, but he knew the job was dangerous when he took it.

So maybe drop him a daily PM, or maybe every other day (if you're not already doing so)? 

I'm sure he'll get you fixed up at some point.
