[quote tronnei][quote AAA]I was giddy as a kid when I was in the studio with Kirk.
That needs further explanation.
Nothing too exciting. I was just present for some studio work he did for one of the movies. But, it was a thrill to be there, get to talk with him, etc.

[quote raz][quote bazookaman]Wasn't the Quest for Peace a Superman movie?
I type corrected. The title was Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

However, I stand by it pegging my suckometer.
I thought ST VI was OK - Guess who's coming to dinner, but with Klingons. Iman looked OK.

Are you sure you are not thinking of the Shatner directorial disaster - Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Watch that and notice after they go thru the great barrier they all have difference hair cuts - had to reshoot the ending. Laurence Luckinbill played the villain.

BTW 2,4,6 good. 8 OK.
1,3,5,7 bad. 9 tolerable.

10 worst of the bunch - worse than all the odds combined.

Maybe for the teens odd will be the new even?

[quote Don Kiyoti][quote wowzer][quote Don Kiyoti]Ugh. Not another crappy Star Trek movie! The whole Trek franchise needs a bullet between the eyes.

Don, you must be kidding. Star Trek is the theme of many, many people's lives.
No, I am absolutely not kidding. If Star Trek is the theme of someone's life then they deserve pity.

Okay, okay...not the central theme, but at least a fun one. Admittedly, since Roddenberry's death, the franchise took a turn for the worse. The vision and quality went down.
