Treasure from a friend's trash basket?

Cisco Systems/LinkSys NoteBook Adapter Wireless-G 2.4GHz. My friend said it still in functional condition. However, its signal doesn't go far enough for him. Is it worth keeping or eBay? All of our powerbooks (2) and laptop (1) have a built-in wifi card. TiA

Keep it. If one of your wireless cards go teats up you'll have a backup for uninterrupted wireless access.

Just read a CNET review, http://reviews.cnet.com/4505-3380_7-20797402.html. This PCI card would only work well with a Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G_broadband router. No Mac nor Linux driver. Not that my G4 12 inch DVI powerbook has a PCI slot.
