BT Logitech mouse vs Apple BT Mighty Mouse? another brand?
#1
I have a Logitech V270 BT mouse that I'm not very satisfied with. It seems to lose the signal and makes the pointer move erratically for no apparent reason. I use it with a Mac Mini from about 5 foot distance. Could I expect an Apple BT Mighty Mouse to perform better?

Try the Logitech VX or MX Revolution. Most comfortable mouse ever and lots of buttons to customize, or not.

The little roller ball on the top of my wired Mighty Mouse is forever giving me trouble. I have to clean it all the time. Mine was replaced once under warranty from Apple.

I like it when it is working properly, but it would be nice if the ball would come out so that you could clean it. I have been thinking of getting a different mouse for this reason.

I hate meeces to pieces, but there are no BT trackballs, so I have a Mighty Mouse.

It holds a signal tighter than a chewing peanut butter. (Ok, I have no idea how that's analogous.)

It works very well. No trouble for me keeping balls clean. The one thing I don't like is the dual buttons on the right and left side (they are one in the same) must be squeezed simultaneously to activate the programmed function. It's nice in theory, but every time I try to click-and-drag, I squeeze the buttons. So I've programmed them to do nothing.

Otherwise, it's great and comfortable.

I just wish Jonny would design a trackball.

STF for a review I posted of a LT BT 900 (IIRC) about a year or so ago...hard to come by, but a very decent mouse. Only drawback is no on/off button which is a pita; also not the best for gaming, but definitely fine for computer work. "SteveO and Logitech" should get you the review. It is pretty extensive.

I'm pretty fond of Microsoft's mice, actually...
