ISP's (cough*COMCAST*cough) would start to complain to the content providers for providing too much bandwidth to the end users, and that it is bogging down their networks. They would demand that they slow down their services so that Comcast doesn't have to upgrade theirs to keep with the times...
Other than that it would be great. It's almost like loading locally hosted material (as in off one's own hard drive)
