Finally joining the ranks of the steadily employed.

Well, it's not 9-5. Mondays are 5-2 (except today) and the rest of the week is 7-4. Working from home was no problem, just not enough work to help with the mortgage payment. I was covering all other bills. So, now we're DINKS (double-income, no kids), a term that I just learned. And no, no new Soob for me, wifey wants a Prius. She's had the same car since she started driving and is due for some new/er wheels.

[quote AAA]Sound great. But what does one DO to work for themselves?
Well, yeah, you basically end up working for someone else one way or another. But being self employed one can have a more solid contract than most cases when being employed by someone else.

I did not mean it that way. I meant it as what's the best skillset to sell so that one can work for oneself?
