I just got my Costco 650 and tried it out this morning.
But every time I turned it on it went through the setup stuff- country, language, etc.
Is there anyway to make that the default? I saw "Lock" but figured that just applied to the Brightness/Sound.
One thing I didn't notice about the 650 in the specs is the earphone jack. I like that!

Huh. As far as I know, once you set up a Nuvi, you should not have to do it again. Kinda like a Mac. Might want to call Garmin about that.

Sis has the 350, only had to set it up once.
I'm with Spiff, call Garmin.

I'll have to do that.
I downloaded the manual and it shows the setup, but nothing more than I've been doing.
Thanks, guys.

Most if not all of the units don't require a fee unless you sign up for traffic reports. I didn't bother since the News/Weather radio stations are usually more accurate.
It looks like some map updates are fee based.
