I love coffee, too. Perhaps too much. I'm not quitting entirely, but I am cutting back by only making a half-dose in my French Press every morning. I am still trying to get the correct reduction in amount of beans (I think I'm using maybe two thirds of what I used before instead of just half). So far, so good.

I love it.
It is my reason for getting out of bed in the morning (at least initially).

Interesting. I've just started having it for breakfast in the last few weeks. All my life I was an OJ guy.

If I had to drink decaf I'd quit.
I don't even think it's fair nor right to call decaf coffee.
(whatever the per cent decafienated)

I'm the one who started the thread about quitting about a month ago. Tried to go cold turkey and failed miserable. In hindsight, I chose a lousy time to try to quit. What I thought would be an easy week turned into a difficult one, so when I started to feel bad (and I felt real bad without coffee) I broke down. I drink french press french roast. So good. But, now I'm inspired to try it again. I think that it's affecting my sleep.
