Hmmm.... I agree, it looks interesting. I'll be curious to see how the implementation is. Of course the one thing it lacks (and this is Apple's fault) is the ability to be played on AppleTV. Of course this gives greater life to G4 mini's as media servers as opposed to AppleTV's

I wonder how soon before the MPAA gets on their case and issues a cease and desist, citing the DMCA. The only way that I can see this able to be done is by cracking the protection scheme on most commercial videos, which is illegal thanks to the DMCA.

This tool seems pretty similar to 3*2*1 Studios Windows DVD copying program, the only difference being that you aren't making another DVD copy.

There are a bunch of encryption schemes that trip it up.
Kinda useless, doesn't play on media players, the mini (or any Mac) is really a crappy way to play video on TV's.
Also, doesn't compress the DVD, you're not gonna be carrying many DVD's using this software!

Looks cool. Finally a solid, easy to use system to make a Mac a useful movie machine. Could be the missing link for why I don't have a Mini and 1TB FW drive hiding behind my TV. Now add support for Blu-Ray
