Movies at the iTunes Store - no ratings?
#1
I've been looking at a bunch of movies, and I can't find a single one without ratings. I think the last one I got was the unrated version and I'm trying to avoid that again this time. Where do I find the ratings for the version of the movie I'm about to download?

Thanks

Usually it is right under the "Format" section when you are viewing the information page for the movie; however, some do not have ratings there, so I take it that those may be unrated versions? Who knows, but I agree...Apple really should be specific about every movie that is posted for rent or sale due to the fact that there are ratings for a reason and many kids are on iTunes, etc.

You could always get a second opinion from IMDb...

All of the ones I checked, didn't have it there. (I just went back and rechecked. Vantage Point, Stop-Loss, 21 & Cleaner)

Doesn't help at all. Sure they list the rating of the version that was released in theaters, but it doesn't help me find out the rating of the version that's available on iTunes.

I stated it was a second opinion. And that has nothing to do with iTunes.

What is the difference that you're concerned about between a 'rated' version and an 'unrated' version? That's not clear.

Does the unrated version have more swear words in it? (or more frank language, sexual content, or more violence, not as censored) And that is what you wish to avoid?

Well, as the thread subject states, I'm talking about iTunes.

It varies but that's pretty much it. Don't need to watch the mechanics of someone getting killed. I've seen worse in real life, don't need to watch that stuff for "entertainment."
