I'm looking to upgrade my Canon SD1000. We have been happy with this model for the past two years, having moved to it from the SD600. The size factor + great pictures + "good-enough" movies make this a perfect grab-and-go camera for when we don't want to take the D80 + video camera along.
I've been comparing the latest SD offerings from Canon - the 1100IS, 850IS, 950ISIS - all have their pros/cons - though they are very similar.
Then, I noticed some very favorable reviews on the Nikon Coolpix S52c at Amazon. I had not considered jumping off the Canon bandwagon, since I liked the Elph form factor so much.

This camera looks pretty nice, though, and falls into the same price-range as the 1100IS (~$200), and quite a bit cheaper than the 950IS. It also has built-in Wifi, for what it's worth.
Anyone have real-world experience comparing these two? I'm interested also in the video, since we have turned to our Elph for more and more video instead of our larger camcorder.
Thanks for the advice.
