[quote karsen]Tone it down Cindy, we all know you're loaded.
I thought she had completed her rehab.

I thought Laura looked great last night but when Cindi came out I had walked into another room
and when I came back, this is the God's honest truth, I didn't recognize her with all that eye
makeup and that hairdo. My wife said that's Cindi McCain! She looked cheap to me and I
find her somewhat attractive most of the time but then again I think Laura's pretty hot.

No one had any problems with all the money Jackie Kennedy spent on wardrobe. She is still on the best dressed list of all time.

Don't kid yourself for one minute. All of them spend a fortune on clothes.

Michelle's favorite Maria Pinto (ormerly assistant to Geoffrey Beene) - Chicago favorite of Oprah - $300-$4000. The purple dress she wore was about $900 Art Print Floral dress by Thakoon Panichgul - dresses are in the $1800 range

Barrack - Hartmarx suits usually off the rack, custom tailored one for his Speech.

John McCain - likes $500 Ferragamo Shoes

Cyndi - Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors

"Jacqueline Kennedy wore size 10 shoes.

And, boy, are they hard to fill."

I find it hard to believe that despite the money spent on wardrobe, makeup or body shaping that Cindy McCain or Michelle Obama will ever capture the imagination of people like Jacqueline Kennedy did.

Maybe it was only because the previous occupant was Mami Eisenhower and really next to her Margaret Thatcher might appear glamorous.

The only first ladies since Jacqueline that had much class, IMHO, is Rosalyn Carter and Laura Bush.
