Wait, There's More! Palin is now a Nazi Sympathizer!

Barack Obama's campaign, perhaps miffed at all the Democrat-is-weak-on-Israel theme, started striking back at John McCain almost as soon as he tapped Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate. Where the Dems are trying to paint McCain as more financially out of touch with people, they're strongly suggesting that his Christian conservative running mate is no friend to the Jews.

"Palin was a supporter of [MSNBC analyst] Pat Buchanan, a right-winger or as many Jews call him: a Nazi sympathizer,'' Obama spokesman Mark Bubriski wrote in an email.

That's good to know.

That is BS and he should be fired. But what the article fails to mention is that Mark Bubriski is the spokesman for Obama's Florida campaign, not his main campaign office. These kinds of things happen often at the lower levels of campaigns - you get immature types who are lower level operatives who shoot off their mouths. It's hard for campaigns to avoid getting tangled up with at least a few people who they later wish they hadn't. In June McCain had to cancel a fundraiser with a Texas oil man because he said of rape, "As long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it."

I don't know. The pastor of Palin's church recently said something to the effect of "Jews deserve to be killed by terrorists because they don't believe in Christ." She was supposedly in attendance that day, but doesn't attend frequently since becoming governor.

Yes, I know, they were her Pastor's words, not hers and she may not agree with them, but that excuse didn't work for Obama..

It didn't? He won his party's nomination!

You're right. It did work...fabulously. The right wing gave him a rare pass on this. It was hardly in the media at all.

Right, and he won the nomination. If it didn't work he'd have been shamed out of the race.
