TextSoap or TextSoap alternative for Windows
#1
At work we use TextSoap 4.5, but our impending move to Winblows means we'll need a solution there. There's a TextSoap for Windows, but I'd like to know what else is out there on the Windows side.

TextSoap is a find-and-replace text editor with both built-in and user customizable "cleaners" (i.e. macros that fix text with a single click.) Prior to TextSoap we used an ancient app on 8.6 and 9.22 called Add/Strip.

I say do it by hand when you get the new Windows boxes. That way, you'll look so busy and productive.

Used this for years when I used a PC every day:

You know, it would fit right in with the monthly Windows patches here that are so taken for granted they're scheduled. Gonna take me a while to adjust to my new reality, once it kicks in.

Thanks choppper, I'll keep that one in mind. One thing that concerns me is this,

from their website wrote:
Can specify up to 5 "find" and "replace" text items.

Most of what I've set TestSoap up for, it a giant find-and-replace list. Only being able to specify 5 probably wouldn't cut it. But I can look over my list, because I think it includes the whole high-ASCII character list, most of which we don't come across.
