What does this error message mean?
#1
I opened the Console tonight & found that this error message appears regularly.

11/25/08 12:14:33 AM Console[362] Error loading /Library/InputManagers/SIMBL/SIMBL.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SIMBL: dlopen(/Library/InputManagers/SIMBL/SIMBL.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SIMBL, 265): no suitable image found.
Did find: /Library/InputManagers/SIMBL/SIMBL.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SIMBL: mach-o, but wrong architecture

Just for grins & giggles I ran OnyX, repairing permissions & running the scripts. Checked the Console afterward & the same message was there several times.

did you in the past have something such as an older version of Pith Helmet, or Saft, or something that used an older version of SIMBL, and it is still installed?

Never used Pith Helmet or Saft.
I have no idea what SIMBL is or does.

I used to get a SIMBL error from opening Safari, but haven't seen it for quite a while....

Thanks, btfc! There was an AcidSearch plugin in the SIMBL folder. Once I deleted it, the error message stopped.
