Love that show... Each one of these last few episodes, I've been getting more disappointed that it is ending.

Spader and Shatner are great together. Spader is just great.

you do know...

And you do know why ALL CAPS were used, don't you?

Or don't you?

Boston Legal started out great but was clearly on a decline, particularly with this last season. Or maybe it was just this last season. And the last few episodes became so preachy and pedantic that they were getting old, quickly. Alan's tirades became tiring. The running joke "...another long closing?" became more entertaining than the closings.

They got rid of Clarice; now if only Betty White takes a shot to the head from SWAT. There were a ton of walk ons that did nothing for the show. Yet they are dredged up from time to time.

I don't know how it will end, but I hope it will be merciful. And any ending will be more merciful than going on for another season.

I would quite like to see a shot where Katie (Tara Summers) is caught riding Jerry (Christian Clemenson) reverse cowgirl. (And maybe Denny doing Rome, literally, along with the midget.)

There were some outstanding moments in almost every episode, some subtle, some not so much. I hope the finalé lives up to that.

The Denny/Alan scenes were some of the best of the entire series, maybe in television, especially the balcony stuff. And Candice Bergen was great; she may have saved the show, allowing us to see more Denny/Alan.

I won't *miss* the show, but am and always will be glad I watched it.

My sentiments, too. Seems like this last season its turned into a soapbox for David Kelly. Some of the tirades were interesting and well written but became tedious and predictable. They seem to try and balance that out by more and more outrageous plot lines. My son, who is a lawyer, won't watch it because the cases get resolved so quickly instead of taking months or years like in the real world. I keep watching, but I don't know why. Tara Summers is a peach and it looks like a hook-up with Jerry is on the way. Try Google image search on her with safeguards off. She hasn't been shy in her career.

Oh man, I've loved this season and last, especially the little digs at the networks and references to its own cancellation.
