Good thing high courts never get political, huh?

Sen. Norm Coleman’s ® campaign on Monday asked the Minnesota Supreme Court to stay a decision by the Board of Canvassers that could significantly sway the razor-thin margin in the state’s Senate race.

Why doesn't Minnesota adopt a sensible law like Georgia has, requiring
a run-off election if no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote,
for gosh sakes??! I'm not happy that Chambliss won in Georgia's runoff,
but at least the result was indisputable.
