Today's election results?

I haven't heard the results (presumably no surprises) but the next President of the United States was elected today.

There may be a problem with Maryland's nine votes. According to law and custom the electors are supposed to meet at the State House in Annapolis to cast their votes, but the State House is closed for renovations. So they met at the Miller SOB instead. (That's Senate Office Building, but it's accurate the other way too--Thomas V. "Mike" Miller, the Maryland Senate President, is an SOB.)

I am sure that some enterprising wingnut will file suit over this.

I wish today was the first of January 2009 so I could say, "That is so last year!"
