Podcast questions:
#1
Can someone tell me what the need for software like Feeder is when trying to create and provide Podcats?

http://www.reinventedsoftware.com/feeder/

My understanding was that Apple pretty much made everything you needed available in the OS (using iTunes, Garageband, etc.). What am I missing? Is the RSS feed needed? Is there any way to make use of it without an app like this?

The computers being used would be a previous edition Mac Book with 10.5.x Files would be hosted on a third party server (not a Mobile Me account).

Any info appreciated. Thnx

Different strokes for different folks.

Why not use a PC instead of a Mac? Most of the world does it.

So, are you saying the same thing can be accomplished using the Mac Book with the previously mentioned built-in software? I just wasn't certain if the Feeder software was a supplement or just an alternate method of doing the same thing.
