Yes, I got my papers for the increase....but they told me you didn't get one this time around.:oldfogey:
I think it amounts to about a $50.00 a month increase.

5.9% that went into effect on January 1 for Social Security. The increased amount was deposited to my account on Jan 21. Since it's based on a percentage, you can easily calculate how much it should be.

Actually, mine works out to be a 5.81% increase around $88.20/month. That's after taking $96.40 out for part B and an additional 10% taken out for federal taxes.
Getting as old as dirt, but I'll have to live a long time to get back what has been paid into it over 40 years.:oldfogey: |
