Amex Card "Mistake"
#1
Around 8:30 one evening this past week while attending our monthly RV rally in Bandera, TX, I received a call from someone with a heavy Scottish accent saying he was with Amex security. He asked if I had made a $7894 charge the previous day on my Amex card at the Stone Mountain Medical Clinic in Stone Mountain, GA. I told him I had not but let him know that I was suspicious of him, telling him that I would call the number on the back of my card to verify.

I called the Amex number on the card and the person who answered verified that the charge had been made. When I told her it was not a valid charge she said she would mark it as such, cancel my card and send a new one. We went over other recent charges which were all valid. I then google'd and anywho'd the clinic name and did not find anything in the Atlanta with that name. This afternoon after we get home I will log onto my Amex account and check all the recent charges to see if this was an honest mistake or not.

If any of you live in the Atlanta area, I'd appreciate knowing if there is a clinic with that name and their phone number.
