projector advice: LCD or DLP?

I'm looking at a couple of projectors on Craigslist:

Epson PowerLite 81p LCD projector
Viewsonic PJ458D DLP Projector

The resolution and features of either seem fine for me. Should I prefer DLP over LCD?

I think there is something about Epson using a 3 LCD, 3 chip or something and it doesn't use DLP chip from Texas Instruments.
