question about buying a used iPhone 3G

My experience with Cinguar/AT&T is the same, i.e., they let you get a new phone at the new customer price (or at least cheaper than MSRP) after 18 months into your contract.

They are also very free about unlocking your phone (not sure if they would be as free with the iPhone).
