syncing calender on new Touch
#1
My wife, who has little use for technical stuff (she reads her e-mail every other week or so on the MacBook I bought her just for that purpose) just received an iPod Touch and after 15 minutes of playing with it LOVES it.

I was hopeful, though not sure, that she'd like it. Her daughter and son in law both are huge fans of their Touches so I figure they'll show her what apps to get and how to use them.

I have got the calendar syncing with my mobile.me account but it is syncing more than I want. I have three calendars set up and I want the Touch to only sync to two of the three. I am not seeing a way to limit the Touch calendar to just two. Instructions on the Apple site just show how to set calendars up and get connected to The Cloud but not how to control the specific calendars.

Can this be done?

TIA

I sync my Touch with my Mac using iTunes; I don't have mobile.me. In syncing, the information tab lets me choose the calendars I want to have synced. Is yours not the same?

With the touch hooked up to her MacBook and in iTunes select the synch tab and under calanders, select the ones you wish to synch. Same with address books.

I saw that iTunes was supposed to be able to provide the sync service, but I wasn't clear about what account the setup routine was asking for so I just went ahead and used the me.com account. It'll work.

thanks for the help. If/when I drop me.com I'll have this in mind.
