Beautiful clear night here.
Lots of stars.
none moving perceptibly.
It was unusually warm and I worked out in the yard moving left over paver bricks and cutting down bushes in the dark until almost 10:00.
Was up again at two, went out, nothing.

Broke my heart when Mavis said she wouldn't drive to a dark spot to watch. she was too tired and I couldn't drive because I'd had anesthesia for a colonoscopy in the AM and was told not to drive for 24 hrs. Sad

I told my son, who lives in Thousand Oaks, about the event. He and my "daughter" got up at 2 AM and saw a bunch of shooting stars. I'm glad that, at least, they took advantage of my tip.

I had sedation for the next day. I got lucky.
