the latest thinking in great LED flashlights ?

I don't much like woot after getting a Bluetooth car speakerphone which came bare in a box (no instructions or packaging). But that's OK for a flashlight, unless maybe intended as a gift.

I have bought a few dealextreme lights. Everyone of them I have come away disappointed. Might just be ME... but I love deals. Just I have thought these light deals were a bit underwhelming once in hand.

I don't really follow the market that closely, but I would still think the fenix lights are still the best overall value for a mid price ($50 range) blindingly bright flashlight. 4stevens recently emailed about the Quark, so that may be similar contender.

Wife has this B&D one for here on the farm problem is it only last 15-20 minutes per charge. It's
got a heck of beam. Our cows stay in a 3 acre pasture at night and it shine all the way across
it. I prefer the C3 Craftsman 19.2volt, 8,000 LUX, it burn for well over for 30 minutes between
charges. I can use it with my Craftsman Drill batteries.

Dealextreme is a questionable supplier. I have two of these http://www.dorcydirect.com/p-158-41-4299...ptors.aspx

I've had good luck with Deal Extreme.

Ordered about a dozen times so far.

Read the comments on the items, they are usually more accurate than the product descriptions.

There are heaps of really good LED torches available.

How much do you want to spend and what sort of batteries do you want to use?

Once I ordered from DX, and my credit card was promptly compromised. Just saying.
