It's been $30 for quite a while there (sold through Smith Micro Inc.) but MSRP is $60.

Don't think Photoshop Elements will ever be cheap enough for me to want its bloat again, although $65 at Amazon is a good price. It was either this or Acorn for me and at $15 here I jumped on this.

I've been wavering between updating my PSElements license (my current version is 4, for the PowerPC platform, woefully out of date) and while deciding I've used demos of both PS E 8 and Pixelmator. This cheap deal just nudged me over the edge, I ordered it via Amazon, the price was too good not to.

Also, though I'm more familiar with Adobe Photoshop, the forced screen-hogging mandatory border annoyances current PSE editions was just one more nail in the coffin. I realize it's possible to minimize this annoyance in the settings, but it's just one more reminder that PSE is not aimed at users like me.

Anyone have long term experience with Pixelmator? I'd be eager to hear if there are any Pixelmator advocates or regular users. My exposure to it is limited, just a few days with the demo. I'm ordering it on faith, because the price is so favorable.
