Suggestions on a all in one printer to replace mp700

My mother in law's canon mp700 just bit the dust. We want to get her a replacement for christmas. she doesn't need fax or networkable. she likes separate ink tanks and she likes the canon brand. I was thinking the canon MP490. is this the best way to go?
