The banter in the VersionTracker comments suggests that this program is either a) useless because Preview and other freeware (FormulatePro) combine to do the same things or b) wonderful. Anybody here use it regularly?

I use it, despite owning the full version of Acrobat. I use it mostly to insert signatures into documents and sometimes to fill out forms that don't have fields already (i.e. faxes I receive via an efax service). It's quick to create text fields. Acrobat is a little clunky now for creating just one or two text fields.

Yeah, because VersionTracker is useless. It includes a relatively recent OCR engine from Nuanc, for instance. You can extrapolate from their about how useless Versiontracker is.

The real problem is that it crashes too often.
