Netflix Live Starz TV Channel

we can stream Netflix moves just fine on my wife's MacBook (10.5.6), I believe she installed something called "Silverlight" from Microsoft.

Anyway, Nedtlix has a new thing called "Live Start TV Channel"; we tried that and it says the MacBook is not compatible, you need Windows XP or better and Windows Media Player 11.

Why would Netlix allow streaming os movies but not Live content on Macs?

Maybe they know Mac users are not interested in 1080p content. Apple has shown no interest in getting Blu-ray discs playing on the Mac. :devil:
