Thought Gmail's max file size send was 10mb
#1
I just sent a 12425K file to myself because I couldn't find my thumb drive. That is what gmail reads the size as not what my OS says the size is.

I could have sworn I thought it was 10mb.

Anyone know what is going on here?

It is all relative. yahoo is 10 megs, but after they do the binary e-mail encoding and the wretched overhead that you get stuck with, you can only send a just under 7 meg file.
