Where do you buy your replacement UPS batteries?
#11
So far I have only used Gruber. Price plus lower shipping cost due to a shorter delivery distance, and I might try out refurbups.com the next time I replace an UPS battery. As for recycling, my town will take the batteries for free if I carry them in to the transfer station.

Gruber is where I get all my batteries at work. I think that PaulF first told me about them. Great prices. Service is OK but for the price I'll deal with it

Yeah, I though about Gruber too. In the end I went with refurbups.com, saved a couple bucks I guess, Thanks mrlynn

I need an RBC 10 (for an APC BackUPS Office 350VA.)

My budget here is no more than $30 shipped, which is achievable, but I don't know what's a reputable place.

Or there's a BatteriesPlus near me that has a Werker (what's a Werker?) for $30+tax.

I buy the batteries for our office at ExcessUPS. High quality batteries and fast shipping. I wouldn't buy any cheap crappy batteries, it's not cost effective as they always need to be replaced. Buy high quality batteries and don't worry for another five years.

why only five years? car batteries tend to last 8-10 years, and they sit in cold freezing weather, are exposed to shocks, etc. Why can't they make a UPS battery that lasts 15 years?
