Is anyone here going to see that movie? Just watched Sigourney on Jay Leno. Twice he said it's a good movie. I haven't ever heard Sig has been in a bad film.

Snow White: A Tale of Terror Heartbreakers Tadpole The Village... But it's interesting to note that the guys from Gawker.com/Defamer.com have rescinded their "it will suck" prediction with this headline: An Apology: Avatar Amazingly Does Not Suck http://gawker.com/5427160/an-apology-ava...s-not-suck

I've already bought tickets for Saturday night - going to see it with 3 other friends at a theater showing it in IMAX 3D. I'll let y'all know what I think afterwards.

84% at RT:
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/avatar/ we plan on seeing it on 3D iMax as well. While Cameron is justifiably proud of the groundbreaking special effects, the actual contents of the film -- the story, the characters, the dialogue -- are disappointingly mediocre.

One of the first movies I've wanted to go to in a theatre in awhile.
My problem is that I've been so disappointed in most recent flicks that I've been avoiding that experience altogether.

I saw it last night and it's VERY good! Effects was where they spent the money on...story is predictable.
