Anyone here experienced this Excel "bug"?
#1
I have a client that is frustrated by how often he'll open a spreadsheet in Excel on his laptop, and it will open with the window's titlebar completely hidden by the toolbars, and occasionally even partially under the menubar!?! I know I've seen this as well, but I rarely use Excel on my laptop.

His only fix so far is to switch to the Finder, which makes the tool bars disappear, then grab the window's titlebar from there, which allows him to move it down to where he can access it in Excel.

Have any of you seen this; and, better yet, figured out a real fix for it?

Many thanks,
John-o

Employing the Maximize key combo to fit the window to the screen always works for me.

A real fix? No.

But you can also grab and wiggle the Excel toolbars a little bit; this sometimes reminds Excel, "Hey - there's a toolbar here!", and then the window is adjusted for you.

Under the "Window" menu > "Zoom Window" will fix it.
