error creating unique tmp file

When viewing Windows Media Player files more often than not I get an error telling me:

"Error creating unique TMP file"

Anyone have a clue as to what causes this? Is there a way to fix it? Or do I resign myself to the fact that it's Micro$oft software at it's finest and just move on?

It's m$, you can't expect it to actually work.




Maybe try reinstalling wmp?
